Wide Lens Olympus

Olympus, Panasonic or Sigma lens?
Down the road, in the near future, I am planning on upgrading to a new len. I have an Olympus E500 w/ 14-45mm f/3.5-5.6, 40-150 f/3.5-4.5 and a 35mm macro f3.5. I will cry if the 40-150 ever breaks because Olympus replacement lens is slow! Its a f/4-5.6 and not a f/3.5-4.5. Anyways, I have plans to replace the wideangle lens with either the 14-54 at 2.8-3.5 or the 12-60 at 2.8-3.5. It seems the Panasonic lens is more expensive. The Sigma is reasonable but not as wide angle. Which lens seems to work more solid? Stick to the Olympus brand with my Olympus body, or try a Panasonic or Sigma lens? What is your thought about the quality of the other brands?
Firstly, the newer Olympus Digital Zuiko ED 40-150mm lens is only 1/3 of a stop slower on the wide end and 2/3 of a stop slower in the long end. You can compensate for such a small loss in post processing without much degradation. If it's still that important, the old version is still available through various resellers.
Olympus' 14-54mm and 12-60mm are excellent lenses. Panasonic's 14-50mm f/2.8-3.5 carries the Leica name, and only because it passed Leica's extraordinarily high quality standards. Any of these lenses will undoubtly give you excellent results. You won't have to worry about the quality you'll be getting, worry about the prices instead!
The only equivalent Sigma lens I can think of is the 18-50mm f/2.8 Macro. Sigma's quality control is a bit dodgy, but if you can manage to get your hands on one that works the way it's suppose to then you won't be disappointed. You lose some of the wide angle range but you gain a constant f/2.8 across the rest of the range and macro capability. Of course, the macro isn't much of a gain for you since you already have the Olympus Digital Zuiko 35mm f/3.5 Macro. So, unless macro and a constant f/2.8 is important to you, I'd stick with Oly's and Panny's choices.
Follow-up:
The Panny/Leica lenses are designed and manufactured by Panasonic. Leica evaluated Panasonic's plants, the quality of the optics, and quality of the final product, among other things, and found them to be satisfactory for the Leica name.
