Question about a wireless remote release?
So, I just bought this remote for my Canon Xsi. (Hasn't arrived or shipped out yet)

Now, I just realized it doesn't specify if it has a 2-second shutter delay or instant shutter release. (I thought I had read it somewhere in the description but I was mistaken) Since I want it to take self-portraits, I would need it to have a 2-second shutter delay because I'd need time to put the remote down before the picture is taken. (Although I'd like both) My question is can you use a wireless remote with the 2-second or 10-second timer turned on your camera? That way after I pressed the button, even if it had an instant shutter release, the camera wouldn't take the picture for either 2 or 10 seconds, depending upon which setting I had it on? Also, if on continuous mode, will it take multiple pictures?

Timer aside, it is actually quite easy to hide the remote in your hand. When you're close to the camera, you don't even need to extend the antenna.
I don't want to hurt your feelings, but next time shop around a bit more...... I bought one of those things for about $10 or $12 dollars. A no-name brand from China somewhere, but it works great!
